This project is a group project which we were required to form a group of 6 and choose a building that best features 2 passive design strategy for tropical climate. After that, we have to study the Green Building and produce 2 A3 research poster which including thermal analysis, wind analysis, solar analysis and two passive design of the building. Through this project, I am able to identify environmental conditions related to site conditions and climate. Also, I am able to explain the effects of the sun on the thermal performance of buildings and the effect of insulation, thermal mass, and air movement on thermal performance of builings. The building that we choose is Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. Below is our 2 A3 research poster. =)
